The beloved fantasy anime Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? - known worldwide as DanMachi - has been confirmed for a brand-new sixth season, thrilling fans around the globe!
Big Reveal at the 10th Anniversary Event
The announcement was made on February 7, 2026, during the series’ 10th anniversary celebration event “Aedes Vesta – Seika no Kiseki” in Chiba, Japan. This special event included live readings, music performances, and appearances by the original voice cast - making it a memorable milestone for the franchise.
Fans were treated to a surprise teaser video confirming that Season 6 is officially in production. While a specific premiere date hasn’t been revealed yet, anticipation is already building within the community.
What This Means for the Story
DanMachi has followed the escape-and-growth journey of the young adventurer Bell Cranel alongside the charming goddess Hestia through the dangerous labyrinth city of Orario. With Season 5 wrapping up intense story arcs in early 2025, Season 6 promises to continue adapting the hit light novels by Fujino Omori.
